A nice example of a classical “YATAGAN” from the Balkan with a 22 inches long blade entirely etched with Arabic inscription. The grips with the side ears are carved from walrus ivory. The grip strap and the blade collar fittings are made of gilded copper with filigree work set with Coral stones. Total length 27 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
