We offer for sale a real, authentic and complete 19 C. axe of the Tonga from Mozambique (but also used by the Shona of Zimbabwe). A long 13 inches helbard shaped blade, well forged, mounted on 16 1/2 inches two tones hardwood haft, with a beautifully carved head. Excellent condition with original patina and blackening of half the blade. Rare item.
