Persian, 18 C. whole steel powder flask. Finely etched with calligraphy in Arabic letters and dated 1212 ( 1797 in the Gregorian calendar). Full working order. Length 5 ½ inches. Very good condition. Minor opening in the seam. A silver band on the throat may indicate an old repair.
