This is a fine, all steel Sirmoor style Khukuri, with impressive 13 ½ inches long 3 inches wide heavy blade and with a very interesting and unusual shape of the famous notch at the heel. The grip as well as the scabbard mounts are steel engraved with beautiful and delicate design. Original leather cover. Total length 19 1/2 inches. Very good plus condition. There is no additional compartment for the small knives or any other accessories.This rare Khukuri is supposedly made in Calcutta, Late 19 or very early 20C.
