This massive Jambiya dagger is early - mid 20 C. coming from the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz and Asir. The big and heavy blade is 17 inches long, 3 inches wide, very well forged with a shallow central rib. Horn grip mounted with heavy silver mounts all around. The scabbard is covered with brass and silver. Original leather belt bound to the scabbard with twisted brass wires and decorated with white metal tacks. Total length 23 inches. Very good condition. A massive and very impressive authentic dagger.
