Up for sale is this very big Qama sword, 31 inches long. Wide finely fullered blade with inlaid inscription in gold on both sides: The Bismillah (In the name of Allah, Most gracious, Most merciful) followed by several of the 99 praises to Allah, Selim Aga, (probably the owner) and date 1302 (1884 in the Gregorian Calendar). Horn grips. To demonstrate the length it shown below next to a more common 18 inches long Qama. Probably Central Asian or Persian. Very good condition. Grips restored. No scabbard.
