This is a classical exemplar of an early Moro Kris from the Philippines. The narrow waving blade and the shape of the Ganja indicate an early 19 C. Piece. 20 inches blade. wood handle bound with braided fibers, with nice carving on top of the pommel. Silver collar and silver clamp (Baca-Baca). 25 inches total length. Very good condition considering its age. Very few pitted spots along the edge of the blade. A crack in the pommel area but it holds very well. A small damage to the braided fibers of the grip.
