We offer for sale this very nice Ceremonial war Axe, of the late Persian Qajar period, probably around 1875. The very big blade is 10 inches tip to tip, etched with floral design on both sides. The back of the blade is constructed in an animal styled head. The blade is mounted on a wooden haft, 29 ½ inches long. Good condition all over. Few cracks in the wood but holds very solid.
