We offer for sale this very nice Ceremonial war Axe, of the late Persian Qajar period, probably around 1875. The very big blade is 10 inches tip to tip, entirely etched with hunting scenes on both sides. The back of the blade is constructed in an animal styled head. The blade is mounted on a steel haft, 25 inches long, with signs of decorative etching. A spear blade, 5 inches long is mounted on the top of the haft. Vcry good condition all over.
