This is a very good and old Moro Kris, probably early 19 century. The straight blade is 21 inches long, beautifully constructed from a laminated steel Deadly sharp. The wooden grip is bound with rattan strips. Wood scabbard with the top made from beautiful grained wood with silver inlay. Unfortunately the rest of the scabbard is a later replacement and of a lesser quality wood, bound with braided rattan strips. Good condition. The metal clamps of the blade are missing. The handle is a later replacement and the rattan binding is recent. Excellent sword at a very attractive price.
