This Parang is coming probably from Borneo. It has a very heavy pamor blade, 17 inches long and more than ½ inch thick at its base. The grip is carved bone mounted with decorated silver collar (very similar in materials, construction and design to the hilt of a Parang Latok # 0388 on this site)
