This beautiful machete like knife is probably of the Golok family, it is 19 C. and coming from Java (?). The blade with the straight back and curved edge is forged from very attractive pamor steel. The handle and scabbard are carved from very dark beautifully grained wood and set with silver collar and silver scabbard tip. Good condition. A minor chip of the scabbard wood at the mouth and small dents on the silver tip.
