This is an old, late 19 C. war axe from Sudan. The blade is heavy, 7 inches tip to tip, with a massive 5 inches back edge. It is mounted on a 25 inches wood pole, with steel tips at the top and bottom. The haft ends are decorated with reptile skin. Very good condition.
