This fine Kattar dagger is coming from Rajasthan, India, early 19 C. The whole Kattar, blade and handle is very finely forged from Wootz (Watered, Damascus) steel. Blade with a central rib, reinforced edges and thickened tip is 8 inches long 2 1/2 inches wide. Professionally polished and etched leaving the edges and the tip highly polished. Fabric covered scabbard. Total length 15 1/2 inches. very good plus condition
