This is a very good and old Moro Kris, probably early 19 century. The wavy blade is 19 ½ inches long, constructed from a laminated core, welded between high carbon steel edges and well treated and heat hardened. The grip is bound with fibers and mounted with engraved silver rings. Bone / horn combination flat pommel. Two silver clamps secures the blade to the handle. Total length 24 inches. Good condition. Light scratches and minor battle scars on the blade edges. The grip is very slightly loosed but holds in position. Old grinding damage near the tip of the blade. No scabbard. Excellent sword.
