We offer for sale this fine Kidjal dagger , in excellent shape and condition, complete with a by-knife (quite rare). The massive heavy blade is 18 inches long, deadly sharp, with off-set central fullers, signed with Arabic letters. The grips are horn, riveted to the blade tang. Wood scabbard covered with black leather on the front side and brown leather on the rear side. The back compartment includes a by-knife, of 3 inches blade stamped with a maker sign, with horn / bone combination handle. Total length (in scabbard) is 23 inches. Very good condition. There is a crack in the tang on one side going almost to the other side, but the handle is very solid.Minor damage to the leather at the scabbard mouth. Unusual find with the small original knife.
