This type of knife / dagger is called “PIHA KAHETTA”, and it is the traditional knife of the Sinhalese from Sri-Lanka (Ceylon). This very good example has an 7 inches blade inlaid with silver decoration. Heavy highly decorative silver bolsters. The grip is carved from black horn. Original scabbard with silver mount. This Piha comes with the side steel and silver stylus. Total length is 11 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Minor chips on the handle. A scarce combination of a complete set with stylus.
