Rare Knife of the Gbaya People from Cameroon - 13854

This rare form of knife is used by the Gbaya people residing in Cameroon and Central African Republic. Either a utility tool or weapon or both, we do not know. But it is very well made, good steel and well forged. 6 1/2 inches long 3 inches wide and very nicely fullered. Ivory handle. Total length 11 inches. Very good condition. First half of the 20C. Handle may be a bit later to the blade but with good color and minimal age cracks.
