The Ethiopian saber, also known as Gurade characterized by a curved single edge blade and mounted with typical Ethiopian horn hilt. This specific one has a 28inches long fullered blade The hilt is made of two horn sectors the lower one carved from Rhino horn. The pommel cap is dome shaped engraved brass. Original scabbard covered with tooled leather. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. Lightly chipped grip. Minor losses to the scabbard.
