We offer for sale a very fine Caucasian Kindjal dagger late 19 Century. The blade is 12 inches long, with three fullers. Hilt and scabbard are made of heavy silver, beautifully and elaborately chiseled and enameled with Niello work on both sides of the scabbard (see details in the photos). The total length in scabbard is 18 ½ inches. Very good condition. Minor pitting areas on the blade and some dents on the silver scabbard and hilt. There is an old repair on the tip of the scabbard and few areas of missing niello enameling on the rear side of the scabbard. Excellent silver / enamel work.
