This type of long Jambiya dagger is common in the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz and Asir. Sometimes it is referred to by collectors as Wahabite style. The one offered here is a fine and complete exemplar of higher quality than most one offered on the market. The blade is high carbon steel 16 inches long with a shallow central rib. The handle is finely chased silver with silver granulation work. The scabbard is silver and brass work also finely chased. Total length 24 inches. This dagger comes with its original colored leather belt and buckler decorated with silver panels. Very good condition. Fine and complete original piece.
