Up for sale is this good example of a Moroccan, early 19 C. gun from the Sous valley in Morocco, also known locally as Afedali. 47 inches barrel bound to the stock with chased pewter bands (few are loose and one missing). The barrel is engraved and decorated with brass inserts. Snaphauce lock in working order also decorated with brass inserts. Hardwood stock inlaid with white metal wires. Bone butt end piece. Total length 62 inches. Good condition. Lock needs adjustments. Chipped wood on the stock.
