This is a quality 18 Century Kattar push dagger, with a short, heavy and deeply curved blade, 5 ½ inches long (point to point) and of diamond cross section. . The beautifully styled curling side bars are set with heavy koftgari silver decoration. The cross bars are bound with silver wire. Very good condition. Kattar of unusual style and shape and a decent addition to the collection of Indian weapons.
