This rare Keris dagger is a Tajong, coming from the Malay peninsula, late 19C. Straight pamor blade of flat diamond cross section 14 inches long. Finely carved Tajong style wood handle with brass mendak. Grained wood scabbard. Total length 22 inches. Very Good condition. 4 mm crack on one edge. The beak of the handle is very slightly reshaped long ago, probably to correct for a wood chip. Rare Keris.
