The BULLOVA is the traditional fighting axe of the Chota Nagpur aboriginal tribes of central India. It comes in a variety of blade shapes and this one has a doubled fork blade, 7 inches long, hand forged. It is mounted on a long dark wood shaft 33 inches long bound with brass bands and mounted with a brass spike at the top of the haft. Total length 40 inches. Good condition. Age cracks.
