This Kris is early version, probably late 18 to early 19 C. The fine blade is forged from twisted steel core, forge welded between high carbon steel hard edges. Wavy / straight blade 18 inches long. One steel clamp is reinforcing the blade in the handle. The grip is bound with thread and mounted with copper sleeves. Wood Cockatoo style pommel. Later made wood scabbard. Total length 27 inches. Very good condition.
