Up for sale is this very fine Ottoman or Persian Blunderbuss pistol with a flaring barrel, 12 inches long, forged from beautifully folded and twisted steel ( Damascus pattern welded). The top side of the barrel is richly chiseled. The flintlock lock is engraved and signed. Wood stock entirely covered with leather and with steel mounts. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. Lock in perfect working order. Minor repairs to the leather cover. A real fine piece.
