The Parang Latok is a rare Sword / Machete from Kalimantan (Borneo). It is characterized by the heavy wedge blade widening toward the tip and the hilt abruptly bent upward, allowing two hands grip of the sword. This fine exemplar is of very good quality and authentic. Massive blade finely fullered, 20 inches long, 14 mm thick near the hilt. Carved horn hilt . Original wood scabbard with original fabric belt and colorful tassels. Total length 28 inches. Very good condition. Age crack on the handle. Minor losses to the scabbard and belt binding
