A Sikin sword. This one is probably Acheen from Sumatra, late 19th C. The blade is straight and single edge 27 inches long with a shallow fuller on its entire length. The steel bolster is forged in a polygonal shape. The hilt is carved of horn in a typical forked pommel. The scabbard is made of dark hardwood with white metal bands. Total length is 32 inches. Very good condition. Few small pitted spots and few nicks on the edge. Minor losses to the scabbard. A good complete sword.
