Up for sale is this fine exemplar of Assib Jambiya dagger from Sa'ada, Yemen, early - mid 20C. Well forged blade 8 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide. Horn grip (most probably rhino horn) decorated with nails. Leather covered scabbard with heavy silver mounts with rich granulation work ( and with the chape extremely long and higher than the dagger pommel). very good condition.
