This fine kard knife is Persian, mid - late 18C, Fine wootz (watered, Damascus) steel blade with high contrast pattern. The grip strap as well as the bolsters are also forged from Wootz steel. Grip strap pierced with Islamic inscription. Walrus Ivory grips with good age color. Blade 10 inches. Total length 14 inches. very good condition. No scabbard.
