A very good and old Kaskara sword from the south Sudan Area, late 19 to early 20 C. The blade is 35 inches long, fullered and marked with a styled sun moon and stars and engraved with Arabic inscriptions on both faces. The handle is wood covered with leather strips. Total length 40 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
