This heavy machete sword is most probably coming from Sumatra, late 19 - early 20 C. Heavy blade, very well forged 19 inches long with a 5 inches back edge. Wood handle with a styled bird head pommel. Wood scabbard with rattan binding and original rope made belt. Total length 25 inches. Very good condition. traces of red / black paint on the scabbard. Old repair (?) on the grip.
