The Siraui is a rare dagger from Sumatra, with a heavy short and curved blade sharpened on its convex edge. In this fine exemplar the blade is 7 inches long. The handle is finely carved from horn in a shape of a styled bird head. The scabbard is wood with silver bands and bone tip. Total length 13 1/2 inches. Very good condition.
