This beautiful Parang from Indonesia has a very unusual pamor blade, 25 1/2 inches long fullered and fully inlaid with Arabic inscriptions including all along the spine. The scabbard is wood covered with silver mounts. The handle is carved horn with deeply chased collar. Very good condition. Total length 30 1/2 inches. Late 19c. A fine item.
