This style of daggers is known as Indo / Arab as it reminds in a way the Arab Jambiya and was probably carried and or traded with wealthy Arabs from central and south India. The blade is very well forged with pronounced central rib, 7 1/4 inches long , very similar in shape to blades of Arab Jambiya but of better quality. The handle is made of steel inlaid with gold in floral pattern on silver background. Original scabbard with old fabric cover. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition, small losses to the gold.
