This Klewang sword is a rare form of swords used by the Batak people from Sumatra. It has a up-curving 22 1/2 inches blade, widest at the tip. Wood handle with beautifully carved pommel painted with gold colors and mounted withheavy hexagonal brass collar. The scabbard is wood, open at its top to allow withdrawal of the blade.
