A very good Arab Khnjar / Jambiya dagger, mid-late 20 C., from Oman. It has a 7 1/2 inches curved and dual edge blade with a pronounced central rib. The handle is rhino horn with silver mounts. The scabbard is “L” shaped mounted with filigree silver locket en suite with the hilt mounts. The belt attachment is made of complicate arrangements of 7 silver rings and twisted silver wire. Total length is 11 1/2 inches. This Khanjar comes with a heavy leather belt. Very impressive.
