Here is an Indian Kard dagger with fine wootz (Damascus) single edge blade 9 1/2 inches long, decorated with very fine and delicate gold inlaid decoration. the blade has also two round gold inserts. The handle has two slabs of ivory with an unusual very tiny dots decoration. The bolsters and grip straps are inlaid with fine gold as well. Total length 14 inches. a small forgoing flaw on one side of the blade. 18-19C. This dagger is much better than most examples we have handled.
