Up for sale is this Nimcha sword from Morocco. H eavy blade, 32 inches long, most probably German made, marked with a lunette shaped mark with styled human face and other cross marks. The handle is carved from a massive piece of rhino horn with clear fibrous structure set with engraved silver collar. The hilt guard and down curving quillons are inlayed with gold. The scabbard is heavy silver engraved in a classical Moroccan style. Total length 42 inches. A fine piece of quality in very good condition.
