The Parang Latok is a rare Sword / Machete from Kalimantan (Borneo). It is characterized by the heavy wedge blade widening toward the tip, with its lower unsharpened part and the hilt abruptly bent upward, allowing two hands grip of the sword. This one has a 22 inches long blade, 2 1/2 inches wide at the tip, and 16 mm thick near the hilt, a square heavy blade extension and a wood hilt with rattan binding. Original wood scabbard.Total length 28 1/2 inches. Very good condition.
