This very fine piece is coming from a Georgian origin with a heavy multi-fullered 18 inches blade marked with a maker stamp. The handle and the scabbard are mounted with fine silver work, delicately decorated with flat niello decoration, dated on the back of the chape 1881. Horn and ivory grips. Total length 24 1/2 inches. Good condition scabbard tip restored, old solid crack to the ivory. A very good quality impressive item.
