Up for sale is this good Turkish Shamshir saber, with a curved, single edge blade forged from good damascus steel (wootz) 29 inches long. Classical shape hilt with brass cross guard, grip strap and horn grips. Wood scabbard with black leather cover with spiral stitching and brass mounts with two carrying rings. Total length 36 inches. Good condition. Small reatoration to the handle. Leather cover to the scabbard is later. Very attractive price.
