18 C. Bichwa Dagger with Brass Knuckle Duster Grip - 6347


This dagger is a ‘BICHWA’ meaning: ‘The Scorpion Sting’. It is Indian. Old. Late 18 or early 19 Century. The blade is double edged, re-curving, 8 ½ inches long. It is marked in the middle with a maker sign and riveted to the ring shaped hilt The grip brass, shaped like a knuckle duster and decorated with geometrical design. Very good condition. Good patina to the blade and handle. The tip of the pommel is slightly bent. This item is offered here at a very reasonable price considering its rarity and age.
