The Bugis Keris with short wide painted scabbard like the one offered here are quite scarce. Fine heavy pamor blade 13 ½ inches long. Grain wood grip with engraved brass mendak. Wood scabbard painted black and gold. Total length 16 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Wood chip at the top of the scabbard. Fine early 20C. piece.
