Up for sale is this early Yataghan sword, late 18C., with single edged blade 19 inches long, inlaid (true inlay) with silver stars. Ivory grips with good age patina, and two dark horn slabs. Nielloed silver grip strap and bolsters. This Yataghan comes probably from the Western regions of the Ottoman empire. Minor chip on the grips. minor dark spots on the blade.
