This Jambiya dagger is Yemenite, Assib style probably from Sanaa area mid 20 C or a bit earlier. Blade 8 ½ inches long. Horn grip with steel nails and brass imitation coins. Leather covered scabbard with white metal (or low silver) locket set with colored stones (Corals, carnelian and glass) and a pierced silver chape with engraved Arabic inscription. Total length 14 inches. Very good condition.
