This powder flask is coming from Algeria, late 19 to early 20 C. Finely carved wood 5 inches diameter 8 inches height. Original leather carrying belt. Very good condition. Age cracks on the wood. Top plug missing. The carving on the flask is very similar to the carving on scabbards of Flyssa swords and other wood works from the area.
