The Genoui, is a rare variant of the classical Moroccan ‘Koumaya’ curved dagger with straight blade. The name literally means from Genoa, probably to indicate its ancient source. The straight 17 inches fullered blade is cut from an old sword, marked with "eyelashes " mark and fitted with elegant wood handle. The scabbard is wood covered with chased brass sheet. Total length 22 inches. Good condition.
