Up for sale is this large and good fighting sword of the Saka people residing in Central Zaire. Very well forged triangular shaped blade, 14 inches long, 7 ½ inches wide, with central blackened area and a round copper insert. Wood handle bound with copper strips. Very good condition. Very good original patina on the blade. Minor age crack on the wood grip. Wide and impressive sword. Early 20C.
